This project pays homage to the Savannah Braves, a historic minor league baseball team that left a lasting legacy in the city. The goal was to blend nostalgia with bold streetwear aesthetics, creating a collection that resonates with Savannah’s pride and history.
Design Details:
T-Shirts: Oversized, highly detailed prints commemorating Savannah Braves players and iconic moments. Vibrant collages blending baseball imagery with vintage elements, celebrating the team's legacy.
Caps: Custom-designed Atlanta Braves caps modified with “S” and “V” embroidery to spell “SAV” for Savannah.
Concept:
The collection emphasizes the theme, “No Place Like Home,” by reconnecting Savannah’s community with its rich sports history. Every piece is designed to spark pride and nostalgia while standing out as a bold fashion statement.
Impact:
The collaboration successfully captured the spirit of Savannah’s baseball history, merging it with contemporary streetwear culture. It became a favorite among locals and baseball enthusiasts, symbolizing hometown pride in wearable art. The pop-up gained significant local buzz, selling out completely within a weekend.
